With the Winter Olympics about to start any moment, it seems that more and more people are starting to take an interest in skiing and snowboarding. However, though I have met others who would be keen to try but don’t know where to start. Here in New England there are approximately sixty-eight places to ski, from well-known resorts to lesser known mountains and ski areas. This winter I hope to review as many as possible, focusing on skiing from both the perspective of a beginner and an expert. I’ll try to provide a pretty complete picture of the sport; facilities and services provided and back that up with my photography. I’ll also be accompanied, when possible, by someone new to skiing so as to keep the narrative as unbiased as possible.
